VHI DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY AND ANALYTICS SELECTED FOR LEAD VIRGINIA 2021

Kyle Russell, Director of Strategy and Analytics for Virginia Health Information (VHI), has been selected to participate in Lead Virginia's 2021 class. "I am absolutely thrilled to be joining Lead Virginia this year. The opportunity to network with leaders from other regions as we learn more about the unique challenges and opportunities in our Commonwealth is a tremendous honor," says Russell.

LEADVirginia is a nonprofit, non-partisan organization whose mission is to connect leaders in order to shape Virginia's future. Participants interact directly with local and state leaders to observe each region's participants from organizations across the state to create a unique bond as they step outside of their professional roles and share the experience of exploring the Commonwealth's diverse regions, each with its distinct opportunities and challenges.

Governors look to Lead Virginia alumni as a resource with a balanced, statewide perspective for service. "Lead Virginia allowed me to create an assortment of connections with colleagues that I continue to foster relationships with today. I turn to other Lead Virginia alumni for insights on statewide issues outside of my niche and can count of them for innovative visions," says Michael Lundberg, VHI's Chief Executive Officer and 2017 Lead Virginia Alumni. Kyle joins the 2021 Lead Virginia class which includes leaders from Fortune 500 companies, state government, non-profits and other organizations with a strong presence in the Commonwealth such as the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Current and previous VHI board members who have graduated from Lead Virginia include Bill Murray with Dominion Energy, Terry Ellis with Comcast, Beth Bortz with the Virginia Center for Health Innovation and Hope Johnson with Pyramind LLC.
